There is a broad range of ways you can get involved, from just watching the story unfold, to bringing the fictional island and her community to life.

We use a process that gives participants full agency over their involvement. You might do something like one of these, or anything in between.

• Imagine what the place looks like; make something from that place

• Watch some action; create a character; maybe also play a character

• Listen to a story; tell a story

• Play some music; dance, sing

• Browse / add to a gallery about the story and the project, in person or online

• Feast with us; bake something; just have a cup of tea and a chat

• Talk about your island; imagine things about the fictional one

• Capture some things you want to remember; capture someone else's memories

• Connect with your neighbours; connect with other islands

• Try out new ways of doing things; invent some new ways
